One thing I have been able to do is keep in touch with my inner circle, and have gotten a lot of feedback on my current ideas for GAME_001.
There were a lot of ideas in the background as well, such as learning Unreal Engine and other tools which have always seemed attractive to learn and add to the arsenal. But with the fewer hours available to me with the current pandemic, one of the Wiseman from my inner circle suggested I go all in on the tools I already know and take that skillset further.
With that in mind, I took another look at Unity, which I am familiar with due to my staff / freelancer status since 2009. They finally made the dark theme available to all users, YEEEEEESSSSSS.

Not to mention the integration of BOLT (visual scripting), champagne has fallen from the heavens.
Another thing I have been thinking about as well, possibly for a title down the road is first-person gameplay. Especially in shooters, specifically, the way Call of Duty (the Infinity Ward versions) and Killzone feel.
Currently, I have decided to take a deep dive into the Killzone series, and I mean deeeeeeeeeeep. I just started the Killzone HD campaign. I did pretty well on the first two levels, but I got my ass kicked by bots in the battlefield mode.

Get good son.
